Halloween in Albany

We had a wonderful trip east to Albany, New York to see the Sheehan family and were fortunate to have a visit from the Smiths as well. We didn't get as many pictures as we should have, I realized when we came home, though we did get a bunch. There was a lot going on, including Halloween itself (see Indy, above) and Jack's first real trick-or-treating experience.

Aunt Tina and Uncle Sean had all the kids over for pumpkin carving the night before Halloween. It was a blast. Genevieve dove right in whilst Daddy cunningly stayed on the other side of the table from the pumpkins.

Neither of us are real sure what on earth is going on in this one.

This is Jack with his cousin Rose, Uncle Teige and Aunt Becca's adorable little girl. We were all wondering how they would get along because Rose is often reticent with people when she first meets them. Well, we should not have worried. These two got along like a house on fire.

The finished product: a spooky ghost pumpkin!

Get a load of these two cuties: Rose as Angelina Ballerina and Aunt Siobhan and Uncle Travis' beautiful little girl Teagan as a kitty cat.

The expression on Teagan's face in this next one kills me.

Indy Jones and Angelina Ballerina dare you to mess with them!

Nanny with little Cormac (that's COR-mick), Teige and Becca's little, or not-so-little boy (he is only a few months old and let me tell you, he is all muscle! Paging BC football recruitment!)

Teagan again. I love this photo.

Aunt Skooze put out a little kids dinner spread before the trick or treating commenced.

Some last-minute preparations . . .

And they're off!

To Jack, the whole thing was one big Indy Adventure. Complete with sound effects, some kind of running narrative, and John Williams music.

Cousin Maeve, ready to put the whammy on ya.

Her sister Nora, apparently on the receiving end of said whammy at Aunt Maura's Halloween house party later on.

That picture of Jack with no shirt on dancing around is the one I will show his future girlfriend. She is such a lucky lady. I almost peed myself at work.
